Against stereotypes, feelings of disgust and discomfort
Anytime, anywhere is a kind of manifesto in defense of the right of women to breastfeed their babies in public spaces. Through it, we try to naturalize the act of nursing and call attention to its importance for the health of babies and their moms, as well as for the need of women to continue their social life in the puerperium.
The project is collaborative and count with the generosity of moms who attend our calls and dedicate their time to pose us for photos and share their experience about breastfeeding time. It is multi-situated and in each country it gains a distinct form responding to the specificities of the society and its problems. Finally, it is multimidia and counts with photo and video material created by Irmina Walczak & Sávio Freire.
